Earlier this year, my brother, Hector Jeter, submitted a photo of mine of him modeling an Express outfit for a contest. After much deliberate waiting and asking everyone on facebook to vote for our photo, we came in 1st place & won the contest! We won a 2 night stay in New York New York, free airfare & a free stay at the W Hotel right smack in the middle of Time Square. We were unbelievably excited to go & once we were there, we couldn't believe we were actually in New York. The furthest east we've ever been was Cleveland, Ohio so this was something HUGE! We arrived on July 22nd & left the 24th. Although New York is a truly an amazing city, the weather put a damper on my mood. I've never experienced such awful humidity & heat. We walked almost everywhere & took the subway from point A to point B to point C back to point A, it was a lot of fun. Also, sightseeing was such a blast. New York has so much history & things to see that we tried to cram everything in 2 days which is simply impossible. I was amazed the whole time I was there. Still till this day while I'm looking at our New York photos, I cannot believe how lucky we were to have won that Express contest & that we were in freaking New York City!!! It still blows my mind.
