When Lisa asked me to photograph her wedding I was immediately on board! She modeled for me once before & I loved her carefree spirit so I could only imagine how amazin her wedding was going to be. Gregg & Lisa both work at Tournament of Kings where Gregg is a knight (in shining armor) & Lisa's a gypsy dancer. They wanted to incorporate their hippie lifestyle into their wedding by having a sort of "burning man - raver - asian infused - alternative - gypsy-esque" theme. They held their ceremony & reception in the middle of the desert during sunset (OMG LOVE) & their 8 foot altar was built by the groom himself. I've photographed many weddings & danced at many receptions but holy shit, nothing will ever beat Gregg & Lisa's reception!! Dancers, LED lights, ravers, folks dressed up in crazy costumes, a DJ playing EDM, the full moon.... it was an incredible night... a mini Burning Man wedding.
